We do not receive or accept any funds or other incentives from any mental health care facility or provider. We believe it’s important for people to have independent searches and accessibility to mental health care because your decision shouldn’t be based on which company pays more for ads or any promotional gimmicks.
Overwhelming research have shown that coupling in-real-life therapy and journaling is the most effective in recovering from mental health issues and living well.
In addition, we have interviewed dozens of mental care professionals and 93% of them have said they strongly recommend their patients to write in a journal daily. In most instances, a visit to your therapist or counselor occurs every 1-2 weeks and each session is for 50 minutes. Consequently, your care provider will read your handwritten journals, listen to you speak, and actively respond all at the same.
With our app, you can share your iJournals and moods in advance (free for both parties). Your care provider can review them before your session, saving time and perhaps making your session more efficient.
AWH stands for Achieving Whole Health and its purpose is exactly that. Our AWH workshop encompasses 3 life domains (Body, Mind, and Spirit) and is conducted online in a group setting. We firmly believe all 3 life domains play a big part in a person’s whole health and wellbeing. There is a strong correlation between the life domains so when one suffers, it can lead to a domino effect. Which is why, our workshop is a fun, creative, and interactive way to educate and discuss this relationship and help create healthy habits and goals.
The Achieving Whole Health (AWH) workshop is for 3 days, 2.5 hours per session and is currently on sale with a 25% savings at 200,000 KRW (approximately $180 USD), which includes a state-of-the-art smart band.
Corporate rates vary and additional services are provided, such as a detailed report on employees’ wellness levels and corresponding recommendations on how to improve on a office culture level in addition to self-care tools.
AWH is for individuals or companies who wants to obtain self-care tools to live well and care for their wellbeing. Corporate Wellness or Employee Assistance Program (EAP) are available, so please feel free to contact us directly to find out more.
In the past, AWH was conducted offline and in groups. Now, Gideb has digitally developed AWH to be operated in our app with a video chatting feature. AWH is still conducted in a group setting with 2 instructors or trainers and all activities are in-app. In addition, we have conveniently designed these features for users to easily access everything on their cellphones. This feature (iCare) becomes unlocked in your app once payment is complete.
Inspired from Whole Health Action Management (WHAM) and sponsored by the United States Dept. of Health and Human Services and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), AWH was developed by National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association (NAAPIMHA) in the US. AWH training provides a creative, interactive and culturally relevant way of improving both health and mental health outcomes.
Accordingly, we had the privilege of working with Dr. Lee Moonsu, Psychiatrist at Korea University Guro Hospital, to culturally adapt AWH to Koreans, while staying true to the content.
AWH was developed over 15 years ago and has over 500 trainers across the US and beyond. AWH is in over 50 organizations and institutions globally with tremendously positive results. Participants also report that they have a clearer understanding on how to set realistic goals, which is key to being successful!
